AlecH Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Hello All, I picked this SA stick pin up today - I've looked through my Tieste Abzeichen catalogue and drew a blank, I think it may be a membership badge, but if anyone has a definite idea please let me know. Best Wishes
FilippoB Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 HiI think you are right: it may be a membership badge and I found many similar pictures on web, made by different matherials (brass, zink or silver) so I think it could be an unofficial manufacturing pin, probably for the civilian use.
Gordon Craig Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 FilippoB,Any object made for SA use would more than lilely have had an RZM marking on the back. The SA was a civilian organization but was part of the NSDAP and therefore all things made for them were under the control of the RZM. Without an RZM marking, there are two possibilities for your pin. It was made before the RZM regulations came into effect or it is a post war copy.Regards,Gordon
