How to tell if a patch is BEVO or embroidred?

Hello,

I would appreciate some feedback. How does one tell if a patch/cufftitle is BEVO or embroidered?

[i know this is a hard question to explain in writing]

And what is the difference beteween felt embroidered and machine embroidered?

e.g. Is the 'Afrikakorps' cuffband BEVO or embrodered?

To my generation of collectors, BeVo applied ONLY to woven products-- often so marked if the backs could be seen-- that are absolutrely and totally FLAT.

"Embroidered" insignia are three dimensional.
