jshorter Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Hi Everyone!I have an Efficiency Medal that I have researched and found a LOT of information on. It was awarded to "2204556. W. O. CL 2. A. L. W. A. BELL. R. E." What I have found is that "A. L. W. A. BELL." is "Arthur Louis W. A. Bell", born March 10, 1903, married Evelyn May Chipp in 1925, and died April of 1991. What I don't know is what the other letters on the medal stand for. "W. O. CL 2." - I am guessing "Warrent Officer 2nd. Class"?"R. E." - I am guessing Royal Engineers?I may be way off on my guesses, but anyone have any ideas what else they may be?Thanks a bunch!Jason
