Mervyn Mitton Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 This may be of interest - the British and Rhodesian Forces in WW2 established Long Range Desert Groups in North Africa. This plaque is for Southern Rhodesia and I am told by the experts that it is the only one known. It came from the Officer's Mess of Rhodesian Light Infantry.
