    A stranger is asking about this medal or medallion, which is Portuguese, possibly Masonic, but bears a dedication related to the Battle of Guadalajara in 1937. It also has a serial number, suggesting other awards so perhaps a student of Spanish Civil War memorabilia might recognise it. It could be a cleverly-done fantasy piece but it could just as well be a rare semi-official or unofficial item.
