Born Jauer 8 October 1840.Then, and retired 1903/4 as, Corps Doctor of IXth Army Corps. From his 1908/09 Orders Almanac entry, he had a retirement bump to Red Eagle 3rd on Bow as 2nd with Oakleaves after this photo was taken. Other medal bar awards not being worn on his ?bberrock in the photo = Mecklenburg Griffin Order-Commander, Prussian XXV, 70/71, 1866, China-Steel, and 1897.
TerryG Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 Sir Rick, once again you amaze me and once again, many thanks for the info.
Guest Rick Research Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 All it takes is the right reference books. No magic--of either variety-- involved. EK2W #2248 on the official Roll (available from Glenn J on CD)
