adler Posted August 25, 2009 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Looking for a source of information on the Marinewaffenamt that would provide detail on the KM inspection/acceptance function in their small arms procurement. For example, late war Mauser HSc pistols bear an Eagle/MIII/8 that was stamped by KM inspectors at the Mauser factory. Does the 'III' represent a division of the Marinewaffenamt...and the '8' a subordinate department? There is a wealth of data on the Army (Heereswaffenamt), but not much on the KM.
