Kriegsmarine U-boat Radio Handset?

Hi guys,

I just got this handset made by Mix & Genest of Berlin. I was told it came from a U-boat. What do you guys think? Its about 12 inch long and built like a tank!

Hello Hinrik

I only know the Siemens& Halske most common UBoat telephone sets:

there is a fixed model (see image) and also a handset (Notfall Fernsprechanlage) with 2 connected headphones with a similar headphone model a connection kit and 2 dinamos(see device in 2nd image).

I have somewhere a german navy technical document on Uboat telephones with drawings. I will try to locate and reproduce it in a new post.
