John5813
All, I have a couple of questions that I hope someone out there can help with. 1. Were there any awards of the SA1X between 1873 and 1913? 2. How many SA1X's were awarded 1914-1918? Also how many went to non-Saxons? Thanks in advance. Guest Rick Research
There was no 1st Class-- you mean the Grand Cross? 1st model: 11 (10 to non Saxons) M1876: 3 (all non-Saxons) WW1 103-- 91 as Grand Cross Xs (81 to non-Saxons) and 12 as Swords added to peacetime Grand Crosses (7 of those non-Saxons) These figures from the late Erhard Roth and Weber-Arnold-Keil agree. John5813
Rick, I am wondering if you could clarify something. I have seen references to the Albrechtsorden Grand Cross and Grand Cross with golden star, both with and without swords. Was this a higher class and are there separate award numbers?
