Awarded: For the creation and promotion of brotherhood and unity at a time when Yugoslavia was occupied by German forces and resistance was divided by politics, nationality and other factors, in 2 Classes. The first class is called the Order of Brotherhood and Unity with Gold Wreath, obverse:
