They generally started appearing in the early 1970's. So, tourist litter rather than vintage artifacts.

I first did not think at it anymore but hearing they are relatively new I remember that there were also inscriptions on the underside of the bottles. There were here British troops in the beginning and I suppose also at the end of the war the Germans went back. So I think that marks are dates? But still the questions what there strange bottles might have contained or been used for? But also strange is the 500 inscription with the triangle mark? Regards, Marc
