The bar has been messed with.

But are the medals good?

The medals are real and properly named.

I agree with Jeff that they appear correct / properly named. The RFA on the 1914-15 Star and RA on the other medals is one clear indicator that they are correct.

His wife probably mounted them without consideration for the correct medal/ribbon combination and if it was me, I'd show the reverse of the BWM too.

Perhaps it is my eyesight - or, the angle of the photo - however, in picture one, the Victory is 'off' centre. Has it been 'skimmed' ?

No it may be a trick of the light but in my opinion the Victory Medal looks 100% correct.

The incorrect ribboning of the BWM and VM was suprisingly common - along with the mounting of rosettes on 1914 Stars. This trio is fine.
