Two medics

Could you please help with identifying these two photos of Sanitaetssoldaten?

Period, uniform, possibly rank? I don't have any idea though they were from a lot of WW1 German portraits.

I believe these are both post WWI photos, most likely from the 1930s.

I'd say the first one isn't a soldier but rather a Red Cross man.

Maybe N°1 is one of these guys.... but to be honest , from this picture I am not 100% shure if he is a german.....I just can guess that other countries had similar uniforms....

He is definitely a German Red Cross man and the style of the medal bar indicates a pre-1919 photo to me. He wears the standard Red Cross belt buckle, buttons, collar insignia, sleeve rank chevron, etc.

I think we have a little misunderstanding.... my photo is of course a german , he is known by name etc.... but I think about the guy in post N°1 - he is not clear enough for me with that coat - is he german?

Collar insignia and the belt buckle design seem German to me. Anyway I'm not sure, otherwise I wouldn't have posted that question here...
