Hi,

I picked up this photo during my last trip and I am just wondering about the chances to find out more about the Ltn. on this picture.

After official rank, oh why there is just name - John... can it be his second name???

If it is a "Lt John", then you would require a post-1953 "R.A.F. List" to go through to find him.

Thank you Graham. Like I understand, post WW2 lists are not available to collectors?

Any aprox. figure, how many RAF pilots got Korea combo, during the war?

Anyway, I haven't seen many Korea war period RAF photos.

Try the lads who post in the RAF & Commonwealth Air Forces section on GMIC. I think you'll find someone may have a post-1953 RAF List somewhere or know the wherabouts of one. Generally post war Lists are easier to find than war time Lists and less expensive.
