Ulsterman Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 OMG!!!!! In a flea market? where? How much? :jumping:
pmargulies Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 OMG!!!!! In a flea market? where? How much? I paid 130 US equivalent for everything but the Civil War medal which was 3.00. I did a lot better on the King Alfonso pair, also in the forum. The same guy also has a decent Naval Order of Merit that I believe dates to the turn of the century, but he is wise to me and asking way too much.
Ulsterman Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Bloody heck you did well. I am really, really jealous!
pmargulies Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 Bloody heck you did well. I am really, really jealous! Ulsterman, thanks, I've come up with a few nuggets there. I skipped on a beautiful, early valor, Italian miniature group - didn't have any money with me and it was gone the next day. And, there have been other near misses, but now I carry about 1500 RON (500 US) whenever I hit up the flea market - just in case.
