I was reading about the decorated veteran.

In my reading, I saw the honorable Colonel received the Thai Balloonist Badge. I had never heard of it and was wondering if anybody has information on it. I cannot even find it on the internet without getting information that the Colonel received it. What does it look like and why was it awarded?

I think actually this is a badge for people who made some training parachute jumps from a balloon, before being fully qualified.
