Finland German Soldier in Finland

Hi guys,

today I saw a nice group which was awarded to a veteran of the Baltic Division: on the medal bar there are some German medals and the Finnish Liberty medals 1st and 2nd class 1918 + "1918"-medal (medal of independance?).

Besides this, there are three miniatyres from the three big Finnish medals from the bar and also the Helsinki medal + the Blue Cross.

Helsinki medal is ok for me, but also the Blue Cross?

Can somebody tell me if the Blue Cross was also awarded to Germans and how often? Never heard about a Blue Cross given to Germans before?
