Les Anderson Posted June 16, 2010 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Hello See attached photos of a mystery medal. I brought this a number of years ago. Presumed to possibly be Slovak but not sure. Obverse has script "Na Kon!" I've been lead to believe this has something to do with horses or cavalry. Not sure what significance the letters K J D Z have. Not sure if it's a military medal or one for say horse riding. Reverse has date 29 IV 1939. This date is close to the dates of a war between the Slovak Republic and Hungary which took place in March 1939. But this is all guess work on my part. Any information would be appreciated.
