    In an album i recently bought i have a photo with an crashed Fokker.

    Can anybody say to which Pilot/Unit it belonged?

    Fliegerkompagnie 50D of Austro/Hungarian Air force had a white 4 leaf clover as an emblem, possibly a pilot of there. photo below.

    If the pilot lived, the Horse shoe and the 4 Leaf Clover gave him luck, nice photo;)

    Isn't the horse shoe supposed to be the other way up, to stop the luck from falling out?!!

    and isn't the aircraft an Albatross?

    Photoalbum is from FFA 40. But there are tons of other planes belonging to other units.

    Very nice Fokker Triplane DR-1 Very maneuverable but not as fast as most of the allied planes, the other photo hard to see the faces of the officers??
