Vetinari Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 In an album i recently bought i have a photo with an crashed Fokker. Can anybody say to which Pilot/Unit it belonged? Thanks in advance. V.
jocktamson Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) Fliegerkompagnie 50D of Austro/Hungarian Air force had a white 4 leaf clover as an emblem, possibly a pilot of there. photo below. Edited August 11, 2010 by jocktamson
Guest IMHF Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 If the pilot lived, the Horse shoe and the 4 Leaf Clover gave him luck, nice photo;) Lorenzo
Wood Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) Isn't the horse shoe supposed to be the other way up, to stop the luck from falling out?!! and isn't the aircraft an Albatross? Pete Edited August 12, 2010 by wood
Guest IMHF Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) It was for when he flew upside down;) Lorenzo Edited August 12, 2010 by IMHF
Vetinari Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Photoalbum is from FFA 40. But there are tons of other planes belonging to other units. Try to post the whole photo later. Thank you for your replys. V.
