Kryptos Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Hi all. I am sure I will have more luck getting information here than, urm, somewhere else. I got this patch yesterday. Now to my untrained eye it looked good enough to be WWII. The olive backing, the weave, the white bobbin thread on the back. But have had a comment or two that it is post war. Can someone here please tell me what sets it apart and if not WWII what age does this item belong to? I am yet to do UV tests on it.
Kryptos Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Under UV the entire olive backing lights up so clearly not wartime. Funny that the white stitching does not glow obviously. Any comments>
