Peter_Suciu Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I always loved the M1917 .45 and I was pleased to read my friend John's take on it: http://www.firearmstruth.com/2010/some-wwii-collectors-prefer-rebuilt-m1917-45-revolvers I actually inherited one from my great uncle. I will treasure that gun always.
Douglas Jr. Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 I own a S&W M1917 (Brazilian Contract). After I bought I simply fell in love for such revolvers. Now I'm looking for another one to use it as a shooter and even as a home defense weapon. They are nice. Douglas
