Wild Card Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 On 23 July 1814, Duke Franz of Mecklenburg-Schwerin founded the Military Merit Medal for 1813-15. This is a second class example, which, except for the date (1813), on the obverse is identical.
