? WW2 Japanese Military Medal/Insignia ?

I just purchased what I believe is a WW2 Japanese Military medal, award or insignia. I have no idea what this is for, so ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Linas

This is a Rosette of the Imperial Time Expired Soldiers League badge. They come in many different colors and I don't know the category of yours.

I used the Book "in the Name of a Living god" by Paul L. Murphy and Steven L. Ackley to identify this badge, it has 8 pages only about this badge and its variants.

If you are planing to buy more Japanese badges I suggest you get a copy of the book.

yes, this was one of the largest veteran's groups in Japan. Send me a PM if you are interested in a copy of the book since it is the only reference work on the subject.
