Guest WAR LORD
This is a strange one. Maker marked L 17.
joe campbell
i don't think L/17 was a maker of any of the juli 20 wound badges....L/12 maybe???joe
Gordon Williamson
I doubt if you will see this one mentioned in any reference book Joe, it looks very much like the fake that David Littlejohn had in his collection. David was well aware it was fake. It has a very "rough" finish to the obverse.i don't think L/17 was a maker of any of the juli 20 wound badges....L/12 maybe???joe
Guest WAR LORD
I concure with Gorden on this piece. The question was it was purchased from Dr K IN 1950'S how many of these are abought. The finish is very good compared to the normal fakes of the piece. But why the L17?
