Greek Urban Police Badge

Other than being a Greek Urban Police Badge I know nothing about it.

Can anyone fill me in?

What size is this badge?

Did you realise it was damaged, it's missing the screw post on the reverse.

It is roughly 2.5" high and 2" across.

I did know it was missing its screw. I was going to attempt a repair, but as I have decided to move it on I will be leaving it alone.

Hello,

It is a Greek Urban police badge, indeed. Period 1973-1974 ( last year of the 7-year Junta, when the emblem of Phoenix subtituted the crown).

Most likely a collar badge (on a blue velvet background).
