Garth Thompson Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 This badge was found in an old tin box at a local estate sale. There was no other military or Chinese items. Obviously Nationalist Chinese but other than that I don't have a clue. Any help appreciated, Garth
hc8604 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Like I posted in WAF, it is just reproduction. I have seen a few of these on ebay too.

For what it is worth - The inscription should be read from right to left, thus ' Wan Ngoh Ho Shan ' literally ' Return the river and mountain to me ' meaning ' Give it all back '.Obviously some form of re- unification plea.
hc8604 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 It is for the Northwest part (Manchuria). But rarely I see Kuomintang written on any badges. Real ones don't have KMT on the reverse. Not sure which dialect you are using, Cantonese? In pinyin it is Huán wǒ héshān.
