Just added today (29th March 2011)

another Nine (9) Romanian Ribbon bars for the collection*.

Separate pictures of individual bars and identification of medals

will be forth coming.

The collection now stands at:-

* 53 multiple bars,

** 15 cloth singles

*** 2 single plastic covered bars.

Not counting ribbons in medal boxes.

And again, no obvious Securitate connection displayed on any of the bars... hmmmmm. Actually, the bar in this lot I find most intriguing is the forth from the bottom. 5th Class Star of Romania, Collectivization of Agriculture and a Soviet Victory Over Germany. Interesting combination.

must admit to gathering these up as they are becoming

scarce regardless of whether civil or military,

with or without a Securitate connection.
