Snap I have the same one but no makers name on screw back, just plain brass. Very heavy and nice design as above.
Kev in Deva Posted May 30, 2011 Author Posted May 30, 2011 Interesting to see yours TeaRex, to my eyes I already detect a slight variation with regards the tank barrels, the one on the right, in mine as you look at the picture seems to point more level than the one in yours! Can you post a picture of the rear of yours? Kevin in Deva.
TeaRex Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Hi Kev, Yes looking at mine a bit more, the wings are also different mine seem to be more curved at the end. Anyway attached a back view as requested. Cheers Rex

Cheers Rex Hallo Rex, Thanks for the picture, its hard to be sure seeing the picture size is small, but the brass screw-back might be a replacement, this would not be hard to do, and in my opinion was very common to see, as the same style of screw-back could be found on many R.P.R. badges including the Radar Technicians badges:- Example of the screw fittings, here fixed inverse to the rear of Radar Technician badges of the R.P.R. period. Kev in Deva Posted July 3, 2011 Author Posted July 3, 2011 Spotted this one recently:- Interesting view of the rear, I speculate a very early issue piece with stamped serial number:- 1285 Kevin in Deva.
