TacHel Posted July 26, 2011 Author Share Posted July 26, 2011 Medal of Honor for Services to the Moscow Oblast Awarded to citizens for outstanding achievements in state, industrial, research, socio-cultural, social and charitable activities that significantly improve the living conditions of the Moscow oblast (region). May also be awarded to citizens who showed particular courage and heroism in the performance of duties, for actions that saved the lives of people. TacHel Posted July 26, 2011 Author Share Posted July 26, 2011 Medal for Meritorious Service Awarded to citizens in public office in the Moscow Region, civil servants of the Moscow Region, persons who occupy positions of civil service of the Russian Federation in the territorial bodies of federal executive authorities in the Moscow region, persons holding municipal offices and municipal officials of the Moscow region, for personnal merit which brought substantial benefits to the Moscow region and who have experience in government in the Moscow region, Moscow region government bodies and local authorities of the Moscow region for at least 10 years. Awarded to individuals and organizations for outstanding service to the Moscow Region in the following categories: - For achievements in science; - For achievements in arts and culture; - For achievements in education; - For achievements in public health; - For achievements in the development of physical culture and sports; - For achievements in the field of economics; - For achievements in the field of social change; - For achievements in the media; - For achievements in the field of industrial production; - For achievements in agricultural production; - For achievements in the field of construction; - For achievements in the field of public security and order; - For achievements in the field of housing and communal services; - For achievements in architecture and urban planning; - For achievements in the areas of finance, credit, banking and insurance. I have seen these awards both on civilians and on military uniforms. HONORARY TITLES OF THE MOSCOW OBLAST All Honorary Titles of the Moscow Region (Oblast) share the same design. Only the inscription on the obverse identifies particular fields of activity for which it was bestowed. It is awarded to citizens for great personal contribution and achievements in the development and organization in their particular field of activity. Awarded for meritorious service in the socio-economic development of the Moscow region, in the protection of human rights, the protection of human life and health, peace and harmony in society, activities that promote development and prosperity of the Moscow region, that enhances its credibility in the Russian Federation or outside the Russian Federation.
