Jimmy E.
Looking for books on the Battle of Austerlitz, I encountered three titles that seem to stand out in the English Napoleonic literary field (not counting Osprey editions or Chandler's The Campains of Napoleon): - 1805: Austerlitz: Napoleon And The Destruction Of The Third Coalition by Robert Goetz - Austerlitz: Napoleon And the Eagles of Europe by Ian Castle - Austerlitz 1805 by Christopher Duffy I have read the reviews, but would like to ask if any of you have read any of all the books - I would appreciate hearing your opinions. thanks, Jimmy Edited September 14, 2011 by Jimmy E. Ulsterman
Well, I haven't read the other two but I like Duffy-he is an easy fun read.
Jimmy E.
Dear Ulsterman, Thanks for your response - do you think that Duffy made extensive use of primary sources ?
