My grandfather, the man in the center, left Liverpool for the US after the Easter Rising in May 1916. I haven't heard that Collins came to the US but it is possible the photo was taken in the Buffalo area between 1916-1922. Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He was an elected member of Dail Eireann , a clever politician and close friend of IRA Director of Intelligence Michael Collins.
