Commemorative Medal for "Blue Division"-opinions

I have had this Bravery and Commemorative Medal of the Spanish "Blue Division" 3 January 1944 for several years and would like opinions if it is good or bad.

The medal I have has a varnish like coating over the complete medal on the obverse and reverse which gives it an almost bronze color. All the other medals I have seen and are shown in books are silver color. I can see some silver showing on the reverse on the bottom of the medal.

There are many knowledgeable members here on the forum so please give me your opinion.
