North Viet Nam Medals

I would like some help with identifying these particular medals,

Bill,

It appears that you have a planchet for a North Vietnamese Victory Decoration and a ribbon for the National Liberation Front on both the samples shown which is incorrect.

If you will look in the South East and East Asia section on page 4, I have a topic called North Vietnamese Badges and Medals and on page 2 in this topic, you will see one sample of the Decoration you have.

If you find the correct ribbon, all you would have to do is change the ribbon for it to be correct.

Edward J Emering's book "Orders, Decorations and Badges of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam" is also a very good reference.
