Hmmmm....The stamp SILVER in English, the uncommon pin, the rough back and the angled pin and clasp hardware...I don't think it's German.

The fact that this is not a recognizable maker silvermaker stamp and is just impressed with the word "SILVER" leads me to believe that this is a trinket piece.
