Southern Quebec CGSMs 1866 & 1870

Some interest and questions arose about Canada General Service Medals so I thought I'd share these 6 I found in the Knowlton (Quebec) museum. All are to local boys from Waterloo, Knowlton and Brome Quebec.

Imagine my surprise to find out there had been an engagement barely 50kms from my homw town.

Click on the pics, it'll blow them up, the names are on the cards next to the medals. Only a few of their units are missing, I'm hoping to get that info next time I drive down there.
