QSAMIKE Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Hi Kev..... I saw one of these at auction about 6 months ago but it still had the rubber mouth piece...... Now you will have to forgive this old minf but if I remember rightly it went for 325 Pounds....... Mike
AlecH Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) Hi Kev, I think you have there a P helmet made of two layers of flannelette (cotton) with added mouth piece (rare surviving rubber mouth piece) if you look inside, the inner layer of flannel is usually, not always, stripped pyjamas flannel. I think Mike's price maybe a little on the light side, perhaps easily double the price. A few years back I seen a variation of it known as the "PHG Helmet" sell for close to £3000 - nice sought after piece Edited August 28, 2012 by AlecH
blueman Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 hi alec its just one layer,no flannel liner
