Found this interesting article, which contains five stories, on the awarding of gallantry awards. The articles contain photos of the recipients

More than 100 members of the armed services will receive special awards for their acts of extreme bravery at a ceremony in London later today, including seven awarded the Military Cross for gallantry during active operations in Afghanistan.
