dave123 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Hello gents, did the Georgian and Armenian rifle regiments have any cyrillic letters to identify the nationlity on the shoulder boards 1914-17 ? If so what colour ? Dave.
Chip Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Dave, I don't believe that they had such abbreviations on their straps. At least they are not listed in the Austrian handbook on the wartime Russian army. All I see with their own distinctions are Finnish, Siberian, Turkistan and Kaukas regiments. No Georgian or Armenian rifle regiments are even listed. Chip
