Unidentified RWAFF collar

Hi all,

Clearing some of my junk boxes and came across with this - Royal West African Frontier Force shoulder title. Maker marked Wm Dowling & Sons Ltd. Birmingham.

I am planning to stick it up on sale but would like to check how common badge it is, does mine looks original and if its not too much to ask what would be the price range?

Timo - I think they were a military force rather then a police one. They wore this badge as a cap badge and as collars.

The cap was obviously larger. They are quite common and I would doubt if worth more then about 10 pounds for the cap size.

However, prices can vary and you may be lucky. Mervyn
