Noor Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Hi all, I would like to learn more about that award below. Like I understand it is Golden Cross of Merit with the Crown (and because it came with the red trifold ribbon, then should be piece time award?). Is there any way to determinate a period when it was made? Also how many of these were produced at all? Centre looks like is slightly smashed and white gild is gone in some places. Also enamel is damaged on the back on the one arm + centre is moving. What would be the market value of this cross? I presume that the maker is Wilhelm Kunz from Vienna?
Guest Rick Research Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 It's a wartime alloy piece-- from the 6 sided asterisk hallmark. Generally given to the equivalents of Leutnants and Oberleutnants in the military or civil service.
