Guest Rick Research Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Could one of you folks paying subscription to ancestrydotcom please check on the Bavarian army file for this man? All I have is this lone document from 30 years ago... and an ancient scan. I'm assuming if he was a Feldwebel and didn't get a BMVK2X until 1917... he hadn't had a very exciting war... but I've always felt bad that I had no personal or service career information on him. Thanks!
Glenn J Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Rick, Adam Ueberlacker, born 29 March 1887 at Dörrenberg, Brückenau. Long time member of 5./I.R. 5. Prewar regular who entered the Bavarian Army on 22 August 1908. I’ll send you the extract and let you decipher the Klingon handwriting. Glenn
Guest Rick Research Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Awwww, 's easy for one schooled as anciently as me. Many thanks--I had forgotten poor Feldwebel . in his solitary non-groupness.
