Can you please look for Hptm Hans Barth. All this guys were commanders of LZ 87 but the order is unknown. I thought it is possible to find out in which order they are when I see the award date. I don't have another source. Maybe it works. I know that Steegmann was commander of LZ 87 from at least Sept. to Dez. 1916. Guest Rick Research Posted September 2, 2013 Share Posted September 2, 2013 I hope you had EH3bX from Daniel and my "Ernestinischen Herzogtümer...1914-1918" (2008) Nothing on Barth from the awards we have transcribed. I always used to ask Neal O'Connor why he didn't do airship people (except a very few as rare examples) and he'd just laugh and say he was only interested in flyers "with wings." So nothing from all those years he hand transcribed so many awards in so many archives. I think 99.999% of all "Luftschiffer" awards we turn up were actually artillery observation balloon units.
