Mervyn Mitton Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Blueman - unfortunately our buckle experts seem to have missed this post. I would say that they both seem OK - they are , of course, both for cross belts. The Kent example is a Georgian type as shown by the Crown. Being a straight-on shot it is difficult to see the depth of the two lugs. They should be quite long as they have to go through leather. Your collection continues to grow - would be nice to see some pictures of how you are displaying them ? Mervyn
peter monahan Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 NOT one of the buckle experts, blueman, but they both look good to me. The wear patterns on the first and the pins have a vintage look about them which I'd think would be trivky to fake convincingly. In fact, both look lovely! How are you displaying them?
