Dave Danner Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 It appears to be for the Gendarmerie de Midi-Pyrénées, headquartered in Toulouse.
paul kennedy Posted July 15, 2014 Author Posted July 15, 2014 These came together. I understand the top badge on the ribbon is for the Army in Africa, can anyone i.d. the pin with the shaking hands? It has the initials CNG on it. Thank you, Paul
paul kennedy Posted July 15, 2014 Author Posted July 15, 2014 I found it. It's the Caisse Nationale Du Gendarme. The i.d. tags are for a Estele Lucien Oran class of 1938. I suppose he must have joined the Gendarme after serving in the Armee Afrique du Nord.
