Yet another 2nd class Knight with some enamel repairs. Gents, the multiple versions of this decoration requiers some help from you guys. Can you please help me out with the timeframe for this specific decoration and also what would be the correct number (2nd, 3rd etc.)? Any help would greatly appreciated.

That a 2nd Empire piece... Looks like it was painted...

Thanks for the feedback. I believe it's enamel-paint or enamel, either way they didn't find the matching nuance.
