I was advised it might be Selective Service, but I thought in WWII the troops working with Selective Service were officers and they used SSS. I thought it might be Supply or Signals. IrishGunner Posted December 7, 2014 Share Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) It is neither Supply nor Signals: Quartermaster (or supply) - Signal Corps - The dots are simply the background pattern. No significance. I've not see S.S before... I've seen RS for Recruiting Service. So, Selective Service is certainly a possibility.
