Jock Auld Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) Guys,Went out late again yesterday and as the weather was not the best it was a fairly crap day except for this phone. Nothing special in itself but another sleeper with its 1943 dated battery still fitted. Sadly I damaged the label when removing the battery but it was unavoidable as the battery itself has distorted over time and has expanded around its center. I will leave it out of the casing now to avoid any further damage. all the components are original to the period. Quite often these are replaced post war as these phones have enjoyed a long life in use. Edited May 31, 2015 by Jock Auld
