Jock Auld Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 (edited) Guys,I think a bargain at €5 today as this looks to be period produced by the Army/Div? cartographers on what appears to be recycled old maps.Perhaps of interest to Irish Gunner are the arty positions. The other positions appear to have been edited but are the same units as they are visible when held up to the light. There are three maps, all recycled but only two are marked up, I have shown the reverse of the previous maps. Bernhard H.Holst Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Hello Jock. Thanks for bringing these to our attention. These must be rare, just noting the dates , only a few days before the cease-fire.Bernhard H. Holst
Jock Auld Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 Bernhard,I hadn't even looked at the dates, I guess that may explain why they got back to Germany then being so close to the end? I hope they are of use to our WW1 enthusiasts!
