Miniature medal Campaign of the Crimea, 1854-1856

Hello readers.

I was fortunate to be able to obtain a miniature medal of the Crimean Campaign 1854 - 1856.

The diameter of the medal is 21 mm ( 0.84 inch ) and of the ribbon 26 mm or just slightly over one inch.

Bernard  -  as Paul says ' a nice contemporary medal'.   you must remember that mess dress and mins. were not worn by ordinary ranks.   However, they were worn at some of the special reunions in later years.    Mervyn
