Tunneller Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I am trying to carry out some research into the Baden 170 Infantry regiment in the Great war having just purchased a medal to a soldier from this unit for my collection. I know they were part of 52nd Infantry Division and they fought on the Somme in 1916. Can anyone give me any more details of this unit and where they fought please? There seems to be little on the net about this unit or Division which I understand was highly rated. Many thanksJim
